Amidst the Trentino mountain ranges of Ortles Cevedale, lies the Val di Sole. In winter, a pristine white blanket covers its numerous streams. Near Pejo Fonti, there\'s a farm managed by PINO BATTISTI, who raises Arabian horses and Highlander cows. This microcosm is also home to the Stelvio National Park. Amongst the evergreen-dotted woods, carpenter MAURIZIO BONTEMPELLI teaches children to craft their own toys. Following the tracks of the \"Dolomiti Express\" line, you reach Monclassico, \"the village of sundials.\" In the valley, in addition to many characteristic villages like Bolentina, Montes, and Celentino, lives LORENZO DOSSI, who produces dairy products from his cows\' milk, turning it into a local creamery. Today, this tradition continues in Pejo, where an ancient cooperative creamery is still operational. DANIELE CASEROTTI and ILARIA DALLAGIOVANNA work here. Further exploration of this area reveals the population\'s involvement from the outset of the First World War. The memory of those tragic events is preserved in a significant museum managed by MAURIZIO VICENZI. Crossing the Tonale Pass, you reach the old border between the Italian Kingdom and the Habsburg Empire, where the Austrian defensive stronghold was established. Here, a monument commemorates the fallen victims from both sides. Descending to 2600 meters in altitude, you discover a captivating place where architect MATTEO AIELLI constructs ice musical instruments for the \"Paradise band\" concerts.\"
