In the area of the Abruzzo National park, with its villages, its people and its unique environment in Italy, the union between man and nature has been really very fruitful. It harmonised the need for natural protection with that for economic development and employment.
The park is famous not only for the presence of the chamois, the Apennine wolf and the Marsican brown bear, but also for its cordial inhabitants and attractive villages, very rich in tourism and handycraft.
