Sabatini mountains are 35 kilometers north-west from Rome; together with Volsini and Cimini mountains, they are also known as Latium Anti-Apennines. Sabatini are a hill area of small altitude, originated by the remains of the ancient Sabatino volcano, from which the two craters which constitute the Bracciano and Martignano lakes stand still.
